1) Travel I-95 South to exit 69 (Route 9 North)
2) Follow Route 9 North to exit 3
3) Take left at the end of the exit
4) Take right at the first stop light onto West Ave. Travel one half mile to the first stop sign
5) At the three-way fork, continue down the center fork (West Ave) for .3 miles to the branch on left (West Ave becomes Main Street)
6) Parking is available on either side of Main Street, or behind the Essex Post Office (on right)
From the West - Stamford/New Haven:
1) Travel I-95 North to exit 65
2) Take left at the end of the exit onto Plains Rd (Route 153)
3) Follow Plains Rd for 5.3 miles to the stop sign (Plains Rd has become West Ave)
4) At the three-way fork, continue down the center fork (West Ave) for .3 miles to the branch on left (West Ave becomes Main Street)
5) Parking is available on either side of Main Street, or behind the Essex Post Office (on right)
From the North – Hartford/Middletown:
1) Travel Route 9 South to exit 3
2) Take left at the end of
the exit
